Last weekend we attended a wedding where they had the most lovely flower arrangements. After the wedding, the flowers were just being disposed of. So we took it upon ourselves to take a few off their hands. Included in this arrangement are hydrangeas, snap dragons, and eucalyptus (and possibly some white delphiniums?). I loved the simple, natural look of these and how the greens really bring out the white in the hydrangeas. Our little yorkie really enjoys flowers as well. When she is not trying to eat them, we can usually catch her posing in the background for the perfect photo op. Even though you might not have a bouquet in your home this week, we hope these photos will brighten up your week. And if there aren't any flowers in your home, go out and buy some this week. Just look out how they brighten up the place!

ReplyDeleteHydrangeas... *sigh* :) How pretty and fresh! must have been some wedding, too
ReplyDeleteHydrangeas are my favorite! I had them for my wedding flower too. I have a few bushes in my garden now, and they make me happy. I have to resist the temptation to cut them all and have them in every room of my home! I love your couches too btw. :)
ReplyDeletehow could anyone throw those beauties away??

Wow! What fun to be able to take those babies home from a wedding with you. So glad you rescued them from a slow death in the garbage and gave them another time around. They look lovely and you are so right, flowers are the best way to brighten up your space. Enjoy these last bits of summer! And that salad looks delish, perfect for our hot days that we have here now!
