A few weeks back we visited the Arcadia Round Barn off of the famous historic Route 66 in Oklahoma. It is such a fun place to visit and even drive by because of it's unique round shape. The round barn was built in 1898 and originally used native oak trees soaked while still green to give its round shape. The coolest part about this place is that it's been maintained beautifully for over 100 years and now it's a great venue for events and community gatherings. We managed to visit and snap a few photos while we were there. If you are ever in the area, it's worth a stop to see and read up on the history.
I decided to wear a mix of prints for our visit. I am sort of passionate about polka dots and also glitter, so I mixed them up and wore it all together! I'm hoping you all will enjoy the fun variety and be encouraged to take some risks in your own wardrobe. It's really freeing to wear a few favorites all together and not worrying about whether or not they go together.

Seriously amazing barn. And I think your outfit looks perfectly put together, by the way.
ReplyDeleteAs a kid I always remembered that "you can't mix stripes and polka dots!" But obviously this isn't a tried a tested theory, because they totally work together!
