Spinny Fun Dress by Marilyn

I recently found this amazing, vintagey dress by Mischievous. I have a few dresses by them and I find them to be really unique and fun dresses that suit my style really well. Dresses happen to be one of my favorite items to wear. You can dress them up or down. You can wear them to work or wear them to the beach. I truly believe you can never own enough dresses as a woman. Each one is like an investment.

I recently found this fun little peter pan collar necklace at Forever21 and figured it would go perfectly with the right outfit. There is just something about certain accessories that can really pull an outfit together. It's definitely worth it to invest in the right pieces.

I decided to wear these off-white flower shoes. These were actually my wedding shoes. And I love them dearly, but I do save them for special occasions because they have so much meaning. When picking out new shoes, I really aim to choose shoes that stand out and look different than what's trendy. I also look for shoes that have a classic look. As I've mentioned in other posts, you can never go wrong with classic styles because they keep coming back, and they always look good.

I was really going for a classic/vintage look with this whole outfit. As I grow older, I feel that this sort of style usually suits my personality best.

I love the lace details on this dress and I love how the skirt is cut into individual strands that make it appear more flowy.

It will really make you shine if you choose clothing that you can be yourself when wearing. This dress really caters to that 'I want to feel pretty' moment. While I definitely don't want to always dress like this, I do want to wear a pretty dress every now and then and I must say this one does the job well!

Go out and explore your style. I encourage you to try new outfits and branch out of your comfort zone. Find what makes you feel good on the inside and out and wear it confidently! You will feel most yourself when you do and wear what makes you happy.

Of course one of the best things about this dress is that I can spin in it! And I love that the strands blow in the wind. It gets really windy here in Oklahoma, so I love that my dress can blow with it and still stay together!
