Happy Valentine's Day!

For Valentine's day, we thought we'd throw together a little middle school style date magic for our viewers! (You know you miss those middle school dances). We created the strings of hearts for the backdrop because of course hearts just make things way cuter. And this also added to our middle school theme.  Actually we didn't choose this theme, it just sort of fell into place when we realized that's what these photos look like. We found inspiration to create the strings of hearts from a few different places and implemented our own spin on the small project.

Last month I was on a small mission to find a cute little V-day dress with character. I found two dresses, but found this little pink polka-dotted one to be more my style for the day of love. I just love the neck on this and how flow-y it is. It's great for spinning in circles (aka middle school dances). I may bust the other one out here for a different occasion. Little pink swing dress is by Bordeaux, necklace and shoes are from Forever21 (necklace was tweaked), earrings - I made them last year.

I couldn't decide which shoes to wear at first, so had the yellow ones out for the second photo.

Evie is such a supportive little dog. She loves to be a part of everything we do and actually enjoys being in the middle and the center of attention.

  7. Love the dress! If I ever had a girl cave (ya know, like a man cave) that heart backdrop would make a permanent appearance.

    1. Haha, we have a somewhat tiny house, or believe me, there would be a permanent backdrop area set up. Oh to only have a girl cave.... :)
