Brooklyn Slate Cheese Board by Kaleb

This past Saturday, Marilyn and I decided to get out and do a little Christmas shopping for
Small Business Saturday. If you haven't heard of Small Business Saturday, it is an American shopping holiday on the Saturday following Thanksgiving every year in support of small and local businesses. We love supporting our local shops any time we have the chance. On Saturday we decided to make a stop at one of our favorites here in Oklahoma City, Plenty Mercantile.

Of course we never leave empty handed when we visit Plenty Mercantile, so we actually came home with this lovely cheese board by Brooklyn Slate. Brooklyn Slate is based in New York and gets their slate from a family quarry. These multi-use slates can be used as trivets for hot dishes, coasters for drinks, or (like ours) cheese/appetizer boards. We are loving everything about ours and looking forward to making plenty use of our new board.
