Trip To L.A. via Iphone

We wanted to share some iphone photos from our amazing little memorial day weekend trip to Los Angeles, California. It was the most amazing trip to celebrate our 3 year anniversary and probably our first trip to actually fly somewhere on our own since our honeymoon (we are not counting visits to see family). We have to say that we went all out for this trip and were total tourists. Kaleb had never been before to visit and the last time I visited, I was 13 years old.  It was a wonderful vacation and the perfect little break to keep our sanity since we love traveling so much. We highly encourage visiting any of the places pictured below. We enjoyed every single one of the shops, businesses, and scenery we visited.

The set of Friends

Reproductions of the Batmobile and the Weasley car in Harry PotterThe Getty Museum
Original works: "La Promenade" by Renoir, "Irises" by Van Gogh, "The Abduction of Europa" by Rebmrandt
The Getty had a fun class where you could draw from sculptures and paintings. It's been a while since we've done any hand drawing or painting, so this was actually really fun for us.
Intelligentsia Coffee at Venice Beach and Silver Lake
We saw tons of original street art of all kinds of unique styles including one of our favorite graffiti artists: 123Klan (pictured left).
Other fun places of exploration (left to right, top to bottom): stencil graffiti outside of Golden Saddle, classic palm trees on Sunset Blvd, fun bicycle prints at Velo Love, outside of Moon Juice, our Moon Juices, Golden Saddle shop sign, shop window outside of Urbanic (sad to say we missed getting to go in due to the hours), Jonathan Adler Store on Melrose Ave, European restaurant off Melrose and Fairfax
