Black and Yellow by Marilyn

I really do have fun dressing up. For my day job the dress code is business casual, so I am constantly trying to come up with new and creative ways to make a typical office outfit fun! I generally try to do this by adding pops of color into my wardrobe. I find that I can still portray myself in a professional way, but also add some of my own personality into my outfit. I picked out this fun and flirty black dress with abstract white shapes on it and paired it with some accessories of my favorite color choice: yellow. We found this cute little green boutique shop a few weeks ago and decided to have fun taking a few photos with this outfit. Luckliy, there also happened to be some fun horsies to pose with as well!

I am a true sucker for vintagey things: clothing, housewares, collectables, etc. So one of my more recent favorite ways to snazz up my office attire is to add some vintage looking shoes. These mustard pumps are some of my favorites! I love the color and honestly I don't think I ever even wear black shoes anymore. You may have seen my other recent post on how I decided to recover some of my plain black heels to revive them. What are some of your favorite ways to express yourself in your daily attire?
