This past weekend I realized that I have been making hummus the wrong way for the past three years. The missing ingredient...Sriracha! I have tried many different types of hummus: roasted red pepper hummus, garlic hummus, olive tapenade hummus, but none of them taste as good as Sriracha Hummus. It has a great smoky flavor with the perfect amount of kick. Give this Sriracha Hummus a try and give your day that kick that it craves!
Ingredients
12 oz. can Chickpeas drained and rinsed
2 tbsp. Sriracha (It's a great place to start, add more if you dare)
2 tbsp. Tahini
2 tbsp. Olive Oil
1/2 clove Garlic (minced)
Juice half a Lemon
Pinch of red chilli pepper flakes
Instructions
Step 1: Combine chickpeas, tahini, garlic, olive oil, sriracha, lemon juice in a food processor and blend throughly.
Step 2: Garnish with red chili pepper flakes and enjoy.
