Watermelon Raspberry Lemonade by Kaleb

This recipe combines some of my favorite summer treats: lemonade, watermelon, and berries. I mean who doesn't love a cold glass of lemonade on a hot summer day or a crisp and chilled slice of watermelon? I made this lemonade for Marilyn and I to drink over the weekend. We are not a soda or coke/pop family, so we usually only have almond milk and coconut water in the fridge. Every so often I enjoy making some fun fruity treats to sip on over the weekend. Here is this weekends beverage of choice. I hope you like it. :)

Ingredients
1/2 Watermelon
1 c. Raspberries
Juice from 5 lemons
2 c. Coconut water

Instructions
Step 1: Cut lemons in half and juice the lemons getting rid of all seeds.

Step 2: Add watermelon, raspberries, and lemon juice in a blender. Blend thoroughly.
Step 3: Pour mixture through a stainer into a pitcher filled with ice. This catches and watermelon or lemon seeds.

Step 4: Add coconut water to top off the pitcher and stir mixture, garnish with thin slices of lemon. Enjoy!

  1. This looks delicious! I made a big pitcher of raspberry lemonade a few weeks ago, but I've never thought to try watermelon. Yum!

  6. I'll drink anything that has fresh watermelon juice! I am sure it tastes just as good as it looks. I would probably add a little vodka to this for a yummy cocktail. Thanks for sharing!
