This is one of my go to work outfits, I usually wear jeans and some sort of button up or tee to work. I recently picked up this checkerboard button-up at Target. Normally it is pretty difficult for me to find button ups that fit well since most companies don't make sizes for tall and lanky people. The sleeves are never long enough, but the will shirt will fit well around my torso or visa versa. All of that to say that this shirt fit great, so I bought it.
The pieces (jeans and boots) you will see me wearing multiple times a week. Its okay, I'm a guy...I can get away with wearing things more than once with in a week. These pieces are a couple of my favorites to wear. The jeans and sunglasses are made by Vans and the chukka boots by Merona. Since summer is in full swing and that Oklahoma sun is blasting down on us, its always good to have some sunglasses handy. I tend to buy cheaper sunglasses so I can have a variety [and the real reason is I tend to be unintentionally destructive with everything I own].

Tips for tall lanky people buying shirts:
1) Short sleeve button ups are usually bomb proof, and all you have to worry about is the fit around the torso.
2) If buying generic long sleeve button-ups, go for shirts that fit in the torso and roll up the sleeves a couple times (as seen in the photos). This hides those awkward slightly shorter sleeves and can dress down a nice button-up for a more casual look.
3) If you strike gold and find a shirt that fits in the sleeves and torso...BUY IT! As long as it is not a long sleeve Hawaiian shirt, you 'll find a time to wear it.

Nice and funny photos! Beautiful shirt!

Love the shirt. Target is a go to place for Jordan and I, along with Old Navy. Never TOO pricey and always something to buy.
