As I was walking through the market this week, I saw that Kiwi's were on sale four 4 for $1. Since I'm kind of bored with the common winter fruits in our area I jumped all over them. When buying fruit that has been marked down double check for bruising and think about how soon you are going to use it since it will probably go bad faster than some of your other items. The Kiwi's were just right...a little soft, but no bruising.
Ingredients:
2 Mangos
2 Kiwi
1 c. Strawberries
1 Banana
1/4 c. Coconut Oil
Combine all ingredients into blender and blend until smooth. If the consistency is too thick for your liking, feel free to add coconut water to desired consistency, this also adds a little more tropical flavor.

DeleteHilarious! I am sipping on a raspberry, mango and coconut oil smoothie as I read this! Mango adds the best flavor, doesn't it?

DeleteYum! This looks so yummy and healthy! Can't wait to try it. I love mango, not too much of a kiwi fan, but hopefully it masks the taste of them.

Yes try it out and let us know how it goes! You can always substitute the kiwi for a different tropical fruit like pineapple or bananas.
DeleteMinus the kiwi because I'm allergic this sounds yummy!! I have to get some coconut oil!!! =)

Ooh that's not good. Luckily there are other great fruits you can substitute out for the kiwi like pineapple, banana, oranges, etc! You can just throw in another fruit of your choice and see how it goes! :)
DeleteThis looks so good! I've heard so many great things about coconut oil, I definitely have to pick that up next time at the market.
ReplyDeleteWe have too! My mother swears by it. And coconut is supposed to be great for your skin and body on the inside as well! It makes a great investment since it's helping you out in the long run! :)
DeleteOh my this looks so good!! I will def try this soon!
