We went on a little adventure recently to this old wooden bridge that trains travel across daily. Kaleb found it while cycling one day and we decided to come back and check it out together. Here we experienced the magic of the old rustic bridge and listened to the train as it passed over. We love finding little treasures like this where an old piece of history is still preserved, hidden, and sometimes still in use. It made for perfect scenery with the sun perfectly set.
Kaleb has a love for trains and pretty much everything about them: how they look, the graffiti pieces on the side, the places and routes they travel, the beauty on the way. For our honeymoon, Kaleb and I ventured to Seattle, Washington. After spending a few days in Seattle, we took a train up the Pacific coast to Vancouver BC in Canada. It was the most beautiful scenic route we have ever seen on a train. While we were traveling alongside the sea, there were large black rocks where we saw around thirty or forty bald eagles resting or flying near. What amazing beauty can be found on small adventures like these!

GREAT LOCATION!
ReplyDeleteThere is something about eagles that is just jaw dropping. Your rarely see them here but every now and then one comes up from the river and you have to double take to make sure there isn't a cow stuck in a tree. Their size is outrageous!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos--lovin' the light halo. ;)
